Letter from the Administrator

Happy New Year! We hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable Holiday Season! A lot of things are happening here at Tarpon Point, so I thought I would take a moment to share some updates. Small group activities are resumed, and are going great! Our residents enjoy the communal activities and we can tell that it really brightens their day. As always, masks are worn and social distancing protocols are followed. We are working to reopen our dining rooms, and hope to have them reopened for our residents soon!

We are still monitoring Covid-19 in our community, and while the numbers have been climbing, there is a bright spot, and that is we have begun distributing the vaccine to residents and staff! We have conducted our first two Covid-19 Vaccine Clinics at the facility, and they have gone quite well. A very big Thank You goes out to Walgreens for being a fantastic partner during this pandemic in getting our staff and residents vaccinated. If you need anything in regards to the Covid-19 vaccine, please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions, comments or concerns.

We continue to conduct our resident visits outside of the facility, and I appreciate everyone being understanding of the needs for masks and social distancing during these visits. As always, if you wish to schedule a visit, please call the front desk at 941-377-0022.

Happy New Year!
