Success Story: Alex L.

Alex came to Tarpon Point after suffering a debilitating stroke. He could not sit up, walk , could not speak or swallow. He had a feeding tube in his stomach for nutrition. Alex worked with the speech therapist on his communication and his swallowing. With the occupational therapist he regained self help skills..

Today, Alex can propel his wheel chair on his own and eat in the independent dining room. He was able to return to a normal diet and have is feeding tube removed.

We are all so proud of Alex and happy for him and his family.
